The Case Centre

For the second year in a row, INSEAD has ranked second worldwide and remains first in Europe, in The Case Centre Impact Index 2026. The results reaffirm INSEAD’s position as a global leader in case writing and underlining the sustained impact of its learning materials around the world.

Lily Fang, Dean of Research and Innovation at INSEAD, said: “This recognition is a testament to INSEAD's dedication to producing rigorous and relevant research. Our faculty remain committed to developing impactful and innovative teaching materials that can help transform business education.”

Based on The Case Centre’s usage data from the previous academic year, the annual Impact Index measures the reach and impact of case writing across institutions, countries, and students worldwide.

The recognition reflects INSEAD’s longstanding commitment to producing rigorous and relevant teaching materials that connect academic research with real-world business challenges and bring impactful learning into classrooms worldwide.

In 2024, INSEAD became the first business school worldwide to surpass 100 awards in The Case Centre Awards and Competitions since their launch in 1991. The INSEAD collection available through The Case Centre, now comprises over 2800 cases, including 209 prize-winning cases, many supported by additional instructor materials.

Beyond case writing, INSEAD continues to invest in pedagogical innovation with a growing portfolio of 12 interactive simulations and four immersive AI cases that bring real-world decision-making to life.

This achievement also recognises the collective contribution of INSEAD faculty authors, case writers, editors, production teams, partners and distributors who help bring our learning materials into classrooms around the world.
