Summary

The Samsung Berlin case describes the revitalisation of a former East German producer of Cathode Ray Tubes for TV. Attention is paid to the sequence of programmes implemented to revitalise the plant as well as the cultural problems between Korean managers and German workers.

Teaching objectives
